Here is the Country Auction Report as collected by the Beef Farmers of
Ontario Wednesday.
FED CATTLE: There were 326 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards.
Beef cows sold with lots of demand at prices $5.00-$7.00 cwt higher. Dairy
cows traded $3.00-$5.00 cwt stronger. Bulls sold $5.00 stronger. Fed steers
and heifers sold fully steady.
Large Steers:$188.00 - $192.00
Medium Steers:$180.00 - $187.00

Bulls:$130.00 - $156.00
* REPLACEMENT CATTLE: There were 903 head on offer at OLEX. Feeder
cattle continued to sell on a stronger trade.
