FED CATTLE: There were 637 head on offer at OLEX and Brussels. At OLEX, fed steers and heifers continued to sell at firm prices. Cows sold at barely steady prices. At Brussels, veal sold on a strong, active trade at steady prices. Large Steers:$181.00 - $185.75 Large Heifers:$178.00 - $180.00 Cows:$97.00 - $120.00 Veal over 450 lbs:$195.00 - $230.00 * REPLACEMENT CATTLE: There were 760 head on offer at the Ontario Stockyards. Steer calves sold fully steady, while heifer calves sold on a much stronger market. A light run of yearlings sold steady, with quality considered.
