EWG filed a civil lawsuit Wednesday against Tyson in the District of Columbia, alleging on behalf of consumers that Tyson is making false claims under the D.C. Consumer Protection Procedures Act. Tyson has a program focused on marketing beef coming from cattle with lower emissions.
