The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship reported a dairy herd had detected the H5N1 virus in O'Brien County, which is in the state's northwest corner. With the Iowa herd, there are 83 dairies confirmed with infected cattle. There have been 16 dairy herds infected since May 30.
